In a statement made to The Verge, Xbox head of global communications Kari Perez said that the tech company has now stopped their introductory offer and are instead “evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future.” It’s currently unclear what these new promotions are going to be, but with the Activision merger allegedly set to close soon, it may only be a matter of time until we receive more concrete information.
